Stacey A. Zartler

Stacey recently joined , P.C. as Of Counsel.   She offers extensive knowledge and experience advising and defending employers in employment law matters.   She specializes in employment discrimination, harassment, retaliation, wrongful termination, disability and leave laws and wage and hour class actions.  She has an excellent track record in trials and arbitrations, having never lost a case before a jury and undefeated in the employment-related arbitrations she has handled.

  • She has won many summary judgments,  and all cases she has tried before a jury, and all employment-related arbitrations she has handled.  For example, she has won:
    • Summary judgment for a national multimedia company on claims by of race discrimination, national origin discrimination, age discrimination, retaliation and wrongful termination in California state court.
    • A jury verdict for a multi-national network marketing company on claims by a former vice president for gender discrimination and unequal pay in California State Court.
    • Summary judgment for a national semi-conductor company on claims of disability discrimination and failure to accommodate, affirmed by the 9th Circuit.
    • A jury verdict for a group of auto dealerships and several employees on claims of picket-line violence during a union strike.
    • Arbitration awards in favor of the employer against a former executive claiming breach of his employment contract with a leading computer hardware company, and against a former sales manager of a software manufacturer and several union contract-based arbitrations.
    • Summary judgment in a federal District Court on claims of sexual harassment, sex discrimination, retaliation and wrongful termination.
    • Summary judgment for a medical device company in Washington state court on claims by an employee and her spouse for sexual harassment, gender discrimination, invasion of privacy, defamation and wrongful termination
