Claire Cochran


Claire is a litigation attorney whose practice focuses on business and employment litigation.  Claire has litigation experience in the areas of breach of contract including franchise and employment, fraud and deceit by board members, landlord/tenant, personal injury (Plaintiff and Defense) and entertainment law.  She also has experience handling Broker Dealer defense matters under the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA), including handling of arbitrations, discovery and related briefing.

She also has transactional experience including the drafting Limited Liability Partnership Agreements, Withdrawal and Removal of Membership Agreements and Non-Disclosure Agreements.  In the world of entertainment law she has negotiated and revised contracts for local bands including contracts with MTV and the Bravo Network.

While in law school, Claire obtained various awards for her participation in Moot Court, including the Best Oral Advocate Award, 2000, and the Top Ten Oralists Award – Constitutional Law, 2001.  She was also awarded the University of San Diego Recognition Award upon graduation for her work as Property Law teaching assistant and tutor.

Hobbies and Interests

Claire enjoys spending time with her new husband and hiking the hills of San Francisco.  She also enjoys drinking wine with her sister who is a certified sommelier in the City.  (  Claire is currently working towards completing her Level One Sommelier Certification.
